There will be a nutrition workshop on Saturday 20th May, Doug Armstrong will be talking about nutrition and we are very lucky to have Virginia Corpus McDermott from Kitchen Vitality – Natural Foods Cooking discussing how to put this into practice. She will be doing a cooking demo and creating recipes and shopping lists for the challenge. This workshop starts at 8am and will run for 2 hours.

The challenge will start Monday 22nd May and run through to Sunday 16th July. The Dexa scan mobile van will be here Saturday 20th May and Saturday 15th July. The scans are $50 each. The challenge is included in the May special!
As far as training your body, you will start with an introductory course where we will introduce you to all of our foundational movements, it’s a chance for you to learn the movements with correct technique. This course will cover the basics and will also give you a great workout, you will be with a small group of beginners working with one of our trainers.
Your trainer will then take you into classes, from that point, you have unlimited access to any class on our schedule! Included in your membership is access to our online system; Wodify, this will allow to to track your progress. Every class has a highly experienced trainer, if not two, and you will always be guided through the hour long sessions, from warm up to cool down. Come in, throw down, meet some new friends while your at it, and make this hour of your day a really fun way to get fit!
Includes two week introductory course and 6 weeks of unlimited classes at CrossFit Rocks.
Introductory course includes four sessions. All sessions and classes are 60 minutes.

Thank you for your inquiry about joining our club. It is great to hear that you are keen to find out more about CrossFit. It will be the most rewarding and challenging journey you have ever undertaken in your quest for fitness! It is hard work but the results you will achieve will inspire and leave you wanting more.
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program based on functional movements. Our programming creates a broad, general and inclusive fitness for any level and is universally scalable, which means everyone can do it! Your experience is going to be unique and the only way to define it is for you to try it out and answer the question for yourself!
The staff at CrossFit Rocks are committed to helping you achieve your goals. In return for this we ask for a commitment from you. Our group classes are very busy therefore everyone must go through an introductory course before joining the groups. This is because we want to set you up for success right from the beginning. This program is intended to achieve a number of goals:
1. Allow us to get to know you and for you to get to know us
2. Learn the correct technique and movement patterns from some of the best trainers in the world
3. Provide you with important safety information before joining the groups
4. Mobility assessment and goal setting for your journey ahead
5. Get a taste of CrossFit before you jump in the deep end
STEP ONE is to sign up for a free trial session with one of our trainers. During this session we will tell you all about CrossFit and how it is going to change your life! We will teach you some of the foundational movements and answer any questions you may have about the program and what it involves before you do your first CrossFit workout. This is a free trial session with no obligation to continue but we know you will!
STEP TWO is to sign on for the remainder of the introductory course. Here you will learn all of the technique, skills, movements and methodologies used in CrossFit and will be the most value for money training sessions you have every paid for. You must complete a minimum of 3 additional private sessions before joining the groups. The cost of the introductory course is $180 which can be paid in full after your free trial or before your second session.
STEP THREE is to graduate from the introductory course and sign on to a lifetime of better health and fitness!
We understand that you are really keen and want to get involved, we can’t wait to have you in the groups! CrossFit is very different to any training you may have done before and training in a real CrossFit box is unlike any gym or bootcamp you would have ever done in the past. Your safety and athletic development is our priority. Trust me; you will be glad you made the commitment when you begin.
If you have done CrossFit at another gym it is more than likely you will need to still complete the introductory course at CrossFit Rocks.
